Hello good folks of Boston. I moved back to Allston a few months back and there's been a lot of restaurant turnover since I lived here last, especially on the Harvard Ave strip. I'm looking to try something new for dinner tonight, what are your favorites?

The only reason to rest la befana is because most people don't bother to collect those coupons they print on the pizza boxes. Me and my homie used to go out on trash day and get enough for a free pizza

Grasshopper (best vegetarian option), Coreanos (kimchi fritas + kimchi fried rice! plus limeade), Kimchipapi (poke bowls), and Roxy's Grilled Cheese (truffle fries + burgers are great).

Anything with short ribs in the recipe. I don’t know what they do to them, but holy shit they’re good.

Agreed, not the highest quality, but for my friends and I after smoking a few J’s and ordering late night it was like a 5 star experience lol

Dumpling Kingdom does like 4 styles of Chinese cuisine really, really well. You can go there a bunch of different times, get completely different stuff and always come out full and satisfied after spending $20. Their absolute best stuff: Mala special pot. If you like mala, they make it really well and it comes out not much more expensive than buying all the ingredients and making it yourself.

BBQ Chicken’s a good choice for Korean fried chicken. Also adding to the pile of people recommending Garlic and Lemon. Roxy’s has some pretty good grilled cheese, burgers, and fried chicken sandwich

Lone star for some tacos, Lulu's lots of options, the avenue for a good burger, garlic and lemon for Mediterranean, and olitoki for some Korean Mexican fusion.

9 Thai Express: quick and cheap thai food that tastes great. especially if you like spicy
BBQ chicken: probs the best location for the chain in Mass. their boneless wings are chicken thighs. try the spicy galbi flavor
MoonFlower House: another fried chicken spot. great for popping in for a quick bite
