Those of us who live in South Boston and own property would like to enjoy the parade on this special day. I mean, it's our neighborhood, so you'd think that would be cool.

Many of us can't, however. Why? We're too busy defending our property from the disgusting fucks who come to our neighborhood to trash it and prove to their friends that they too can get alcohol poisoning.

Residents have been begging the city and the veteran's group that runs the parade for more port-a-potties. This year we got them. They were all along the parade route, which was shortened to avoid excessive harassment of locals, which has been increasing in recent years. And yet still a bunch of mostly guys, though occasionally girls, would avoid the actual bathrooms set up and go for the (apparently) far more sanitary option of urinating on our cars, against our homes and in our driveways. And all those glass bottles you break? People walk their dogs on these streets.

Seriously, who the fuck thinks it is okay to leave local residents to clean up your piss and vomit? Who hangs out and drinks nips in strangers' driveways? What kind of entitled, obnoxious fucks are you people who do this?

I had a guy attempt to "negotiate" with me this year why he deserved to urinate on my property. He wouldn't leave even when I asked him to three times. So I grabbed his jacket and pushed him off my property. Then he wanted to fight me. That's even more fun than a couple years ago when guys were trying to do blow near the window where my nephew was sitting. And it's a helluva lot more fun than the girls who thought shitting in front of my neighbor's garage was acceptable. Full trou drop, with security cameras rolling. (Hope you never run for office someday, ladies! The internet is forever!)

The people who act like this leave trash because they are trash.

This used to be a family-friendly event. A decade ago I used to invite people down to celebrate. Now it's an absolute shitshow (literally) of moronic kids who turn what should be a fun day into amateur hour.

I've reached my limit. I'm sick of the little douchebags who think they're hot. Next year there will be consequences. Happy St. Pat's.
