Wow. This is only about a 3-minute walk from me and I still take the Brandeis shuttles sometimes. The email about this early this morning from the school was a reminder of how fragile life can be.
I hope the rest of the injured people are able to make full recoveries.

Alumni didn't get an E-mail which I kind of find shocking since there are so many pretty wealthy people that went to Brandeis. I'm sure many of them would donate for medic costs, etc.

Alumni are not the first, second, or eighth priority in a situation like this.

Wasn't acting like we are first priority to know... But for a school of ~3500 undergraduates, and a lot of legacy students, there are chances we know someone still at the school. At 27 injured and 1 deceased that's pretty damn close to 1% of the entire undergraduate population being injured.

Alum here. Found out via Brandeis Instagram. They haven’t sent anything to alums yet. Just feeling relieved that the people I still know there are all okay, but what a tragic event for our entire community. This happened right in front of a house my friends lived in during our time at Brandeis.
