So me and my sister are traveling to Boston in two weekends from now. I have never been there but only know I want to be within walking distance to Boston Common and in a somewhat central location as we will not have a car. I’ve been doing research but holy cow there are tonnnnssss of options and any advice would be appreciated. Also if anyone has any recommendations on what to do while I’m there! Thank you so much.

Mid price range is what I’m looking for btw. Not so expensive but not the cheapest either I don’t want to be unsafe obviously or in a uncomfortable situation.

You really don't need a car to get around Boston. The T has you covered. As long as your hotel is near a T stop you should be good to go. I think it's $2.40 per ride now.

I recommend the Kimpton Nine Zero. It's across from the Boston common and Park St T stop. Staff were very nice, rooms were clean, and they had free wine hour. :)
