Why do I not have any service in Massachusetts? I have cricket which uses AT&T towers I believe, and whenever I’m in Massachusetts my phone will say I have 3-4 bars and yet I have no service. I travel the entire country for work and have never experienced this anywhere else, but it happens every time I am in Massachusetts, why is that?

maybe your phone isn't switching towers - have you tried rebooting it?

That's kind of weird but my AT&T phone also wasn't able to connect over the weekend. It was fixed when I rebooted it. I suspect AT&T had some sort of problem and lost track of the phones on their network. It might work if you turn on airplane mode and then turn it off. It'll search for the cell network and reconnect.

Is Cricket better than Mint?

Asking the real questions. I think Mint is even cheaper for just 4 Gb of data and unlimited everything else

It's ATT vs T-Mo. I use Mint after 20 years with AT&T and haven't noticed a difference in service and it's very reliable. I should've left sooner as the savings are significant while now paying $360/yr. for unlimited data. As always, it depends on your location. I'm in the city and get great 5g speed.

I've had AT&T service in Mass for over a decade. There haven't been any coverage issues.
