Long story short my girlfriend is making me get her mom a Christmas gift even tho she has gone through great lengths to end my relationship with her daughter and constantly insults me in front of family. What’s the worst possible gift certificate I can get her that would be hard for her to resell on eBay? I specifically want to get her a gift certificate because I know she hates when people give them as gifts.
Edit/update: just want to make a few things clear.
1: to those suggesting I get her something nice as a present, I did. I got her a $200 watch for her birthday. She sold it on eBay. I’m not getting her anything she can easily resell.
2: I’ve narrowed it down to a gas card/oil change for her car (she drives a Tesla), an edible arrangement (everyone hates those) with a gift certificate to a second hand store (she’s too uppity to wear used clothes), or since she was a real estate broker for 30 years before retiring I could make a donation in her name to a homeless shelter. She is very rude to the homeless (I could tell stories but won’t) and this would actually be helpful to society. I’ll wait to make my decision this weekend in case I get better suggestions.
