So I’m actually training to be an AMC volunteer leader, and I mostly lead beginner/easy hikes and walks! There are a few of us who do that. There’s a lot of focus on making sure everyone feels included. (I’m also not in crazy shape either, haha. I just like getting outside.)

Really? Would totally be into going on your next hike. I used to go on pretty hardcore hikes in my teens and 20’s but that was ages ago and I could def do with a reintroduction to it lol 😅

Awesome! The best place to start is the AMC Boston website. There are a bunch of different committees. I normally lead/co-lead hikes with the local hikes & walks and the 20s and 30s committees.
