That's a fantastic idea, altering thrifted photos. It gives perspective on the classic 'everything is not always as it seems'. The original owner had no intention of conveying a darker tone or any idea that it could be interpreted as you have. thank you

As long as it's a print yeah. If it's an original it feels like a shame to alter what could be the only copy.
