OP, I can’t get past your misplaced commas. Is the UK amount 125 thousand, eight hundred thirty four? That’s 125,834, not 1,25,834.

By default my system gets the formatting using the Indian system. Which is 00,00,000 . In the above case One Lakh, twenty five thousand , eight hundred and thirty four crores.

In India we are taught to put commas after 3,2,2 digits.
This is because the units we use are thousand-lakh-crore-billion instead of thousand-million-billion.
