We may go to Mars, but we will do it in stylish clothes while doing dance videos and makeup tutorials...

Capitalism seems to be doing just fine.

Can you explain your capitalism comment? Are you saying these companies shouldn’t/wouldn’t exist at all under socialism/communism?

Well, most of these numbers have changed

I know Byjus is worth less than half the now

Unicorns on the whole is a silly concept when these companies are huge and mature

I would recommend that, if you have a large open space in your chart, you should use that to add some important information (in this case, what a unicorn is).

Does anyone know why Chick-Fil-A wouldn't be considered a unicorn? It's weird that they're not included in this list, but they're not even listed on the source website as a unicorn company.

Probably because they don't have much international presence, which is a common theme with all of these.

Also being an online business helps

Definition of a unicorn is a startup valued above 1 billion dollars. Note that a company older than 10 years or a company past its initial sage is not considered a startup anymore.

3

Pay08 t1_izhsyc6 wrote

Quite a few companies on the chart don't meet that criteria, though.

european_hodler t1_izbtl46 wrote

kind of also tells you what these unicorns might be really worth. before being really checked and really being an openly traded company, it might all be bullshit.

Figma is software used to design user interfaces for user experiences. It’s great! I’m an Adobe user for most things but I do prefer Figma over Adobe XD.

Soon, crypto will die. Nobody will want to invest in this charade anymore. I've seen enough scams with absolutely zero justice from Maxine Waters or anyone else.

Totally agree with you but I wudnt call Bitcoin a scam. If people are silly enough to put their money into it it is their choice. I am going to laugh at all the Bitcoin people who lose money and want more government regulation when the so called reason they went into Bitcoin was to be free of government

ds2isthebestone t1_izcf1s3 wrote

Ironically, regulations could make bitcoin skyrocket. Or straight send it to the bottom pit of hell. No in between.

FTX is worth zero and Instacart will be too.
