I was thinking (after reading the gateaway process project by CIA, the declassified stuff) that maybe, consciousness is the real entity/force that creates everything in a form of a delusion or hologram in an attempt to understand it self. But maybe, every time it does come to an understanding it's not enough and destroys itself.

Ok, but in terms of your question, it is a concept from a science fiction comedy author, not an actual scientific concept anyone expects to happen.

The Gateway Process stuff was a bunch of hooey. The CIA report on it is simply someone summarizing what the process purported to be and not immediately dismissing it. Neither that nor Douglas Adams should be taken as anything more than amusement (and prefer Douglas Adams for that purpose, he was much better at it).

If we are living in a simulation or something, this theory could hold some water.
It’s interesting to ponder. It blows my mind to think that at some point in the future, when no stars remain, that nothing will exist. Utter darkness. Weird.

Sounds like a Quote from Douglas Adams
> There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. > > There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
There is no reason for that to happen outside comedic effect.
