I was kidding... What kind of cheese? A sharp cheddar 🧀 would be good. If you are a bacon 🥓 fan, Wright's has a bourbon limited edition that will blow your taste buds. The very definition of meat 🍖 candy 🍬

Jalapeno poppers traditionally use cream cheese as the filling.

The peppers I grew where cowhorn if anyone was interested.

Thanks. They’re wide for cow horn. Thought they were jalapeño.

Looks great! My preferred method is chopping up crisp bacon and putting that into the cheese mixture, then baking/grilling. Bacon doesn't unravel/fall off that way.

I think a wire rack beneath them would make them cook better, at least that's how I do mine, it keeps them out of the bacon grease.

What oven temperature and for how long are they cooked? I've only cooked them a few times on the barbecue.

Use prosciutto instead of bacon.

You're welcome.

I grill these using jalapenos when I'm doing carne asada. Throw one on a steak taco, 👌🏼.
