1 pkg(4 oz.) Baker’s Sweet German Chocolate 1/3 cup of milk, 2 tbsp divided 4 oz. cream cheese, softened 2 tbsp sugar 1 tub of Cool Whip(8 oz.) 1 store bought Oreo crust
1.) Break chocolate squares apart and place in small pot along with the divided 2 tbsp of milk. Melt on low heat, stirring constantly until there is smooth consistency throughout. Scrape sides and bottom of pot to avoid scorching 2.) Add sugar, cream cheese, and remaining milk. Whisk until blended. Transfer chocolate mix to a large bowl and add cool whip. Fold until there are no streaks of white. Spread filling evenly into crust. 3.) Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Remove pie to thaw for 30-60 minutes before cutting. It may be served then or refrozen back to firmness. You may decorate the top of the pie with Oreos, mints, or other candy.

I love this pie so much. My grandmother used to make it for every holiday. Thanks for bringing back a memory!

This is just a chocolate pie. I don't think Germany even has cool whip or cream cheese

They do have cream cheese and cool whip, but this is German as is Baker’s German, a specific type of baking chocolate.
