You can also just but some plastic wrap in the spam can and use the empty can to mold the rice. Put a spoonful of rice in, sprinkle furikake, top with a slice of spam, push down and pop out.

If you use an ice cube tray and halve the spam slices, it's possible to make micromusubi as a cocktail snack.

I’ve started to apply a bit of Hoisin sauce between the spam and the rice. (I know people use teriyaki sauce) It’s terrific.
