I mean, I get people have a "fuck the police" attitude in general, and yeah alot of them are assholes, but I feel like you typed all this out, when the actual advice should be

"Don't fucking drink and drive."

Cops suck, but putting others in danger because you can't stop yourself from getting behind the wheel after you've been drinking is also a bad thing.

Of course! Don't drink and drive. I am not arguing that. If you are truly DUI, I believe you should be charged.

But even if you're sober and innocent, you could still get charged for DUI if you fail a roadside sobriety test when you could have chosen to not take that test.

I was just wanting to help people know their right to refuse that test, because I don't hear it talked about often.

Fair enough. I think this is good advice then, for sober people. But in general I feel like people who drink and drive also read stuff like this thinking "I'm about to beat the system!"

That's not your fault, though, if that's not your intent.
