They've been dropping really fast. From two weeks ago to last week they dropped from over $4 to like under $3 at the Aldi around here.

It was just a temporary spike due to bird cullings. It might happen again with bird flu still being a problem, but the price spikes should only last as long as it takes to get a new generation of egg laying hens going.

At one point during the pandumic Golden hen was 79 cents. Then they soared to $4.89. Last time I bought they were around $2.70.

Nashville. I just looked at the website and they are now $2.55 per dozen so they seem to still be trending down a little.

$2.19/doz. yesterday at the Aldi near me (Minneapolis, MN). They were nearly $5/doz. just a few weeks ago.
