I so remember this. Slow opening shot of different colonies under dome , floating in space. Our heroes would find themselves in a new dome every episode. Had an old star trek kinda feel with more peril.

Weren't they hurtling off course too? Always with the peril. Yet always some reason to stop and gaze into this week's guest stars eyes and snog.

Yeah. Ship was headed for the sun. Apparently, a large portion of the show’s budget was for the bridge set in the final episode…that we never saw.
