yeah. I mean worrying about nuclear war, you don't really get it as a kid. Nowadays worrying about a real threat like an active shooter. I would hate to be growing up with what's going on right now being seen as 'normal'

I feel so bad for them this is no way to grow up. School is hard enough. Their elders are letting them down. Not you and I personally, but adult society at large.... We are failing them ...

"Normal" is exactly right. We hear about these shootings like we hear about stormy weather now. It's so frequent and consistent.

Somehow we still have people that think gun control means the government is going to personally come to your door and take all your guns...or rather politicians with an agenda scaring them into believing that...

HOW is there no middle ground? This shouldn't be a political issue. This is basic common sense and safety. I think "Earl" and "Billy bob" can take one for the team and give up their automatic weapons day down at the gun range In exchange for children's literal lives....

We can't be this stupid.

Damn. Sorry for rant. Another shooting happened today, and in my state of NC we literally passed a bill this very same day that actually puts us backwards on the issue. In NC now you can buy automatic weapons at shows without having to registering them with authorities..... Why?!
