I have a penis, can someone tell me what this is for? I'm 43, I've had lots of girlfriends, and I don't... I don't understand. Did I miss something?

They’re pads that have freeze-able material inside. Women put them on their underwear to ease pain and discomfort when sitting for a period of time after giving birth. Crotch monsters can really do some damage unfortunately.

Not to over share, but these things felt so damn good after giving birth. Everything gets swollen and sore. Your partner in baby making will appreciate having these. Congratulations and good luck!

Oop, my bad! At the time I commented I didn’t see your comment also explaining, wasn’t trying to over step you. lol

Also, good for you two congratulations! Please tell your wife’s vagina we fellow Redditors believe in its power to overcome. But keep the ice pads on hand just in case. :P

I was racking my brain trying to figure out how cold would help with menstrual cramps lol. Thanks!

I've heard of heating pads for cramps but this is the first I've ice for the vagine. Or does the ice help with cramps too? Serious question.

Yep. Applying heat or cold can help ease painful period cramping. But period pain is usually located at the lower low abdomen where the womb is. (Cramping is due to the womb contracting itself back and forth during a menstrual period, bc it is angry it was not given a baby)

While I’m sure these freezable pads can be laid across the belly for cramps, or maybe easing pain from a c-section, I believed its main intended use is putting it in your underwear. Because the poor vagina hole tends to be in utter pain while recovering from the bloody war that is child birth. Helps women to sit more comfortably.

My wife hasn't used ice for cramps, she used these after giving birth. That area is pretty sore for women after passing a whole human being through. Something that they don't really tell you about ahead of time, women can't go to the bathroom normally for weeks after giving birth.

Holy shit, I thought they were talking about a drink, haha

Makes sense though, they burst out of their packaging like the Kool-aid man.

It’s a cooling pad for vaginas. After labour and such.

Ooooh. I was like "Is it for if you get kicked? I've dealt with pleanty of periods, never known a labia that needed cooling off".

That makes sense.

Thank you.

Pretty sure the brand is Frida for moms. They have a lot of great products for new moms. My wife used their products after having our son.

After giving birth, that area is extremely sore, sensitive, and many women have stitches. These are like ice packs to soothe that area. Frida Mom is a fantastic brand and has a whole package of things needed for new moms.

I ended up DIY making a bunch of these for my wife by putting witch hazel on pads and then freezing them.
