Well "miserable"is probably melodramatic but I mean her expression hints that she probably asked to be a princess or Ariel or a genie or something.

Then again her parents probably coached her to grimace like the picture. I still say poor kid. They grow up so damn fast as it is, let them enjoy it a little.

It seems to be the theme this year. I keep seeing costumes on little kids that aren't old enough to even know what they are dressed up as. It's kind of sad - Let THEM choose what they want to wear! That's the fun of it.

I was clear into my teenage years growing up in rural North Dakota when I finally figured out the name was not in fact Haulin' Oats, which made complete sense to me living in farm country because, that's just what people do.
