It's winter. You just need to drain the filter a bit because of condensation.

That's why there are sensors and a warning light.

Ah yeah that makes sense. I was a PM tech for a company that didn't really know wtf they were doing so it would stand to reason I picked up some bad habits.

It's just handy that water is more dense than diesel so it settles to the bottom of the filter

Oh yeah 10-4. We hauled salt and potash so instead of doing the normal thing, any time we got any kind of warning we would just replace whatever was making it warn us. That would explain why the company isn't around anymore eh?
