Maybe his wife/kids feel unsafe walking down the drive to the car, if it’s poorly lit and they need to do so when dark?

I know it’s a short driveway and they have lights, but I literally got the shit scared out of me by someone in my front garden once. Very short driveway. He meant no harm, we lived near a low-security psych ward and sometimes someone would escape. He just liked collecting leaves and we had a lot of trees.

Another time I got the shit scared out of me in my front garden, the guy was high af and tried to attack me.

So, maybe this?

Maybe, he had 3 other vehicles in his driveway and plenty of room for the Kia. I was thinking making it hard on the Repo man or others have commented that these Kia's are extremely easy to steal.

House had a 2 car attached garage as well, so if he did feel unsafe he could have parked it in there.

I don’t know enough about how repossession works, or cars, so from my experience and not knowing about his garage, this is my only idea!

It does seem weird though. 100%
