Any data to prove this? I can also make an image saying shit like this

That... that is the source. They do the market researches, it's not The Verge.

Well, and if you have spent a second to read what I wrote.
They haven't provided any data to prove this, if they claim something they better have some data to base this on. As I said, the article does not mention any data from 2022, and links to a report published in feb 2021 as source

Does the link you have pointed out provide any data apart from what they say?
I don't know what's the deal, Counterpoint is basically an institution (along with IDC) and they publish these reports every single year. They're trustworthy.
Additionally, financial results and units shipped reported by the companies themselves are coherent with these data.
We are not talking about 9to5

The entire article, any link mentioned in it does not provide any data on 2022, Apart from that one graphic which claims to be on mysterious data which does not exist.
Have you ever seen any proper research? Any proper article based on research? If you want to claim something, then you provide the data behind that claim, even with paywall between it.
THERE'S NOTHING HERE, STOP DEFENDING THEM, UNLESS YOU WROTE THAT ARTICLE THEN WRITE IT AGAIN

Avoiding the point here I see.
I have a feeling that proper research are those in which Android comes out at the top. Reddit love its bias.
Well tough titties, there isn't a single Android model that sells as much (as reported by Apple, Samsung and others).
