RT is what really make Pixar movies looks way better than video games.

It really noticeable, and, IMO the latest hurdle to better looking games.

With that said, games that are using RT nowadays are using it for only PARTS of the visuals.

When games will be able to use it for all effects at the same time (reflections, all light rays on all surfaces, all shadows etc) then you WILL notice it.

It will also ease the work for devs! :)

I am both a game developer and a gamer now and I'd say at least for now I'd happily put on some more work to optimize our game for a wider audience and more range of devices, simply for the profits.

However I too hope one day RT can become a standard feature on mid-range card and above with hardware advancements that make it cost less performance than now (around 20-30% fps instead of 60-80%).
