So far the only issue I had with Xiaomi was that I would break the charging port after a few years and then would attempt to change it myself. On Redmi note 3 I ordered the wrong piece but I only learned about it when the same thing broke on Redmi note 7. If I noticed it I might have still been using that phone. The phones are cheap but good although they prob last somewhere between 3 to 5 years. Redmi note 3 lasted me for 3 years,7 is around 3 and still going. I don't really have a reason to upgrade and the phone is still running alright.

Yeah, ordering parts for xiaomi phones is a pain in the ass because they release about 378 billion different models every year, who all are similarly named, like mi 10, redmi 10, redmi note 10, then pro/lite variants, then for some reason they introduced the t models, there's the regular t, there's the t Pro, fucking hell...
