Stardew valley is almost a 10/10 for me, the game is everything I wanted and more but I feel like it’s just missing something . What would really I help and could bump it to a 10/10 for me would be to add Dwayne the Rock Johnson as a marriage candidate .

Just because an Artist or Art Team used Pixel Graphics doesn't mean that it's basic or worse. Art Style and Direction always trumps graphical quality or realism as time passes.

I agree with everything you said. However, stardews pixel art is very basic. Its flat. Its boring design-wise. To me, there are no interesting artistic choices being made.
Compare that to hyper light drifter's pixel art
