The Ori games, Hollow Knight, and every single Fromsoft game.

Elden Ring and Sekiro are freaking gorgeous. Hell, even DS1 still looks incredible.

Half life 2 has some of the best environments I have ever seen in a game. It perfectly captures the bleaker tone of the game compared to the first one. I also love the way the environments and npc's interact with each other. Ravenholm is a great example. The traps the zombies with naturally fall into or zombies getting crushed by something before they can get near you, it all is perfect.

Elden Ring is pretty cool, i started the game and in the first hour while exploring found myself staring at a long distant castle in ruin, well, when i finished the last boss, 130 hours later, i was in that place, shit like this is why I play videogames. So cool.

Recency bias, but Hi-Fi Rush is absolutely gorgeous. Any single still image from that game looks like it came straight out of a comic book, they really nailed the aesthetic.

Ubisoft games have great visual appeal, from Ghost Recon: Wildlands to the Assassins Creed series. Anything by Shinkawa is also great.

Recently I've really been into the style, character designs and all of 'Buriki One', something about it I really like.

Love how blocky and polygonal the characters look, yet they're bursting with personality, they all look different to one another. Just captures a very specific time period and style. Love it.
