But I’m sick of all the soulslike games.
So many interesting games being released end up being labeled as “soulslike.”
Amazing level designs, atmosphere, characterization, premise, etc….
Except…. I play video games for fun and don’t have the free time nor the patience to “get good.” When I hear “soulslike,” I know the game will be ridiculously challenging and I just don’t have time or an interest in challenging games! I don’t get that “pay off feeling” most people get when they finally beat a difficult boss.
I sooo badly want to experience games like Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Life of P, Wo Long, Thymesia, etc., because of the premise and atmosphere, but I suck at the games and don’t have time to get good.
Does anyone else feel this way? Or am I going to get downvoted to oblivion?
