I love Rogue Heroes. Its a roguelite love letter to Zelda: Links Awakening. There's a town to rebuild, dungeons, overworld, familiar items and weapons. Multiplayer, splitscreen fun.

No Time to Relax is a boardgame type game where you are tryying to live a successful life. Kind of similar to Life but more about choosing options than a spin of the wheel and moving around the board. Not sure how the strategy is for a ten yer old but it might be worth checking out. See what you think.

How do you do Animal Crossing with three of you? Taking turns or? I like playing a single player game with a buddy and handing it off.

Stardew Valley might be fun and has split screen, I believe.

We take turns with Animal Crossing, or one person is the leader and one person gets to tag along. Mostly, the 10 year old plays and SO and I take turns picking up apples and fishing behind him.

Rogue Heroes sounds awesome, I think we will get that! 10 year old LOVES the board game Life, so No Time to Relax sounds good as well. Thank you!

Oh man, I hope you love it. I think A Link to the Past is one of my favorite games of all time. Heroes does a great job of feeling just like it.

Bear in mind roguelites usually demand that you die again and again until you get stronger. Go into the dungeon, grab as many rubies as you can, die, invest in town, head back to the dungeon until you beat it. I like that loop. I hope you guys enjoy it.
