I guess what happens is I enjoy it but then it feels tedious to keep watching especially for long walkthroughs. Is it reinforcing bad habits of dropping things if I drop watching a full walkthrough instead of seeing it through to the end?

I'm the type of person that really dislikes dropping things, even if they are not entertaining to me anymore. I wanna see it to the end. However, if you're fine with dropping things, just drop them when they are boring to you. I don't think it reinforces any bad habits, don't worry about that.
