Looking for the ideal terrain/building game for co-op with my gf

My girlfriend and I are trying to find an ideal co-op game that will help us creatively conceptualize an IRL plot of land (~30 acres) we're hoping to homestead. Something middle-ground between Stardew's simplicity and architectural software's grindy details.

So far our best candidate is something like Eco - I'm just surprised I haven't run into a 3d terraforming with simple building design software in my searches. Any ideas would be much appreciated! Happy New Year

No man's sky? You can find a relatively earthlike planet, and form the land the way you want. Make a farm, breed animals.. I mean it's set in space, so its alien animals and plants, but as far as terraforming, I think it's the closest you'll get.

No problem, and yes, there is a creative mode... you're forced to do the tutorial at the beginning. Like find some resources and get your ship running. But after that, it's all sandbox

Thanks! Do any of the farming simulator titles allow for custom buildings? I have FS '22 and I don't believe it has that.
