SimCity 4: This is the game that Cities: Skylines was heavily inspired by, and it offers a similar experience with a more classic aesthetic.
Planet Coaster: This game focuses more on building and managing theme parks, but it offers a similar level of detail and customization as Cities: Skylines.
Surviving Mars: This is a city-building game set on the Martian surface, where players must not only build and manage a colony but also deal with the unique challenges of living on a new planet.
Cities: XXL: This is a spiritual successor to Cities XL, which was a popular city-building game released before Cities: Skylines. It offers a similar experience, but with updated graphics and gameplay.
Transport Fever 2: This game is more focused on transportation and logistics, but it still includes the city-building aspect.
Frostpunk: This game is a city-building and survival game that takes place in a frozen post-apocalyptic world. Players must manage both their city and their citizens as they struggle to survive in harsh conditions.
