Man I hate when that happens. Same thing happened to me with Far Cry 2, the savegame got corrupted after reaching the second map (about halfway through the story). I think I returned to it after 2 yesrs, but I'm glad I did, because it ultimately became my favorite Far Cry.

I've beat the original before but it really just turned me off the full playthrough to have no saves at the start of fort frolic to just repeat like an hour of time on the remaster :(
