Are those some variety of evergreen tree? I didn’t know they grew so far south.

Flagstaff’s elevation is 6900 feet, so it’s a good climate for some evergreens.

Yes. They exist as far south as Nicaragua. Even Florida has them. Which I am assuming you mean something like conifer trees. Trees that are always green and extremely common in the south like tropics as there is no cold weather.

They exist pretty much at all latitudes, even at the equator. The exception are the extreme arctic regions
