Couldn't you just not do that and plug them in instead using a dongle?

I guess I haven't honestly thought of that. The cable will still be a pain practically speaking. Will have to decide if that's worth "the hassle".. Will there be a loss of sound quality, do you know? If it's "too much" i think it'd be a shame to use such headphones, maybe.

No, wired is generally the preferred connection and a lot of the dongles are very cheap and offer great quality. What phone do you use?

Oh well that's great news. It does indeed seem like I just have to make up with myself if I can live with the cable. Hm... I use 1+ 8 pro.
