Better sound quality, worse QC, and moderately power demanding.

Is the sound quality that much better to risk the worse QC? :D

What do you mean by moderately power demanding?

Depends on your wallet and patience.

It's a low efficiency headphone. It might not be loud enough or distort when used with some lower quality source gear.

I see. According to their impedence I didnt think they are more demanding then 250 Ohm Beyerdynamic headphones.

Hm. Tough decision

Thank you! Will read through that.

As I am not sure, if the WaveXLR will power the Headphones properly, can you suggest an affordable AMP for the HD560s or the 900 Pro X? 🤔

I'm pretty sure it will be fine. You can grab a JDS Atom amp if you're worried.

I keep that in mind, if its not fine and import one of these then :) (they seem to be not available in Europe)

Edit: Just saw its 170 US Dollars with shipping. Would a Zen DAC do the same?

The JDS would be over 200 Euros with taxes here ^^"

I suggest just starting with the WaveXLR. It will be fine.

So I am currently trying the HD560S and the 900 Pro X.

First impression is, that the 900 Pro X sounds much ... deeper .. and with richer sound.

Excited to hear, if its suitable for the step locating task in EFT as well :D Music related I am very pleased.
