especially since there are standardized locking 3.5mm connectors. The only manufacturer I can think of that uses them is Sony though (MDR-Z1R and MDR-Z7)

Fostex says hello, or at least their RP lineup does.
Thankfully i got my mk3 second hand and way past warranty so i just modded it to take MMCX balanced. Was having so much trouble with the locking 3.5mm
