I've had these for a month now and returning them today after a terrible/non-existent customer service experience. First of all, I bought them at full price ($699.95) a few days before they went on sale for a $100 cheaper. I submitted a request for a reimbursement. I figured I'd skip the whole process of returning and re-purchasing at the cheaper price. Have not received a response after several attempts.

Secondly, the left headphone has sporadically gone dead the past few days. Judging from Amazon reviews, this isn't a one-off. Several others are complaining about the same issue. Instead of implementing better QC, I think they're just offering them on sale now because of this. It really sucks because I loved the sound quality of these when they worked. I can't even submit a warranty claim because Sennheiser makes you pay for return shipping that way. So, I'm returning them today (while I have a new Null Audio cable coming in) to get the cheaper rate. I'm wondering if I should even re-purchase. Has anyone else encountered shitty service from them?

Seems to be in issue with the cable. A lot of users complain about it cutting out on the 200, 300 and even 900 as well.
Unacceptable at this price point and shame on Sennheiser for failing its customers. Their headphone lineup is known for lasting literally decades and yet they cannot figure out a way to build a secure and lasting IEM connector. Pathetic, really.
I'd love to suggest the Sony IER M7 at this point, but depending on your location they might be unavailable.
