Honestly I never figured this out. Imgur was an app that was like this. Fully deleted from my phone and no matter what, when reinstalling it was automatically logged back in.

There is 100% some sort of flaw in the iOS file system that allows data fragments to be left behind that are then reattached by the app when installed again.

No idea what’s happening.

Ya. The weird thing is I even tried signing out of the app then deleting it and still it was logged in on reinstall.

It was an email+pw account too, not tied to my appleid or anything on the phone.

Tried logging it into a new dummy account and then deleting and still it had my original account logged in on reinstall.

Pretty significant issue but I never found anyway to report or get apple to address it.

I have seen the same behavior on Android too.

In Android you can delete caché and app data separately, eliminating this issue.

iOS “supposedly” deletes everything when you delete an app but going by users, it does not. It’s not the first time we see this behavior.

Nope, deleting the data and cache doesn't always work. I have had apps retain my information even after doing this.
