3 days ago i got a new iphone xr from amazon (refurbished) and ever since i got it it keeps bugging. the phone keeps opening apps, typing on its own but it doesn't do it all the time. i tried restarting the phone, cleaning the screen, and updating the phone but still nothing. does anyone know what to do. please help.

What is the battery health (found under settings, battery, battery health) and also does it feel hot when you notice the ghost touches?

88% and no the phone doesn't feel hot when it happens

It’s not super likely but I have had two phones that around 85% health started to have battery swelling that put pressure on the connections for the display and digitizer and cussed ghosting at random times. A battery replacement fixed it.
