There's this android phone that would be perfect for you.

Nah, I'm kidding. In your position I'd probably either hold out or grab another 12 Pro Max since that thing will last some time still. The fact that it's 60 Hz is kinda rough, but that depends on whether or not you care. I suppose you could go lower if you wanted to save some money.

And the top model iPhone 15 will be really expensive for sure lmao. I think they can charge big for that periscope lens, if that ends up coming true.

I appreciate this

The 60 Hz is rough, but I can deal with it for a few months if it means that I’m primarily using an iPad at home instead

And with how much I can sell this iPhone 13 Pro for? It’ll cover at least half of the iPhone 15 price

That’s kind of my conundrum lol

Should I just go back for a 12 pro max or should I grab a cheaper iPhone and an iPad while they are on sale for $249

Honestly, idk man. I think picking up a used phone that's even older isn't a bad idea... at least if it doesn't hold you back in any significant way.

Right now I'm using a Pixel 5, which is also a bit older and technically worse than my other phone too.

if I don’t want the latest and greatest…? you right. i don’t even use it properly nowadays. which is why i’m eyeballing an iPad + Apple Pencil for $299 @ Target

But I am not a fan of the newer iPhones, because the camera lens steaks out so far that their own cases don’t protect them

At this point there just for saying more hardware in the same amount of space instead of making it flush

With that being said… I’m still by 15 if I downgrade lol

I like your last suggestion of grabbing a cheaper, small phone + getting an iPad for your primary use at home. Especially with iPad’s on sale for $249 at the moment. You could sell the iPhone 13 Pro, buy a new SE and a new iPad, and still have hundreds of dollars left over until the 15 releases. That’s my vote. Let us know what you decide!

This is what I think I’ll be going with. Can anyone with the SE 2022 lmk if it has Tap to Pay or not? I assume it does.

I’m not sure why I’m being downvoted. No answer is going to be the wrong answer. I was hoping for opinions from others. As of right now? I’m thinking… I’ll buy the iPhone XS Max + an iPad for home. Then sell my iPhone 13 Pro, and set the cash aside for the 15 Pro Max Ultra. That thing is going to be at least $1549.99 USDz
