Tap to wake

I’ve noticed with the Iphone 14 PM that sometimes i have to tap twice to wake the screen up, is anybody else facing the same problem?

I have noticed a delay ever since updating to iOS 16, it’s very annoying. Makes me second guess if I actually tapped it.

I’ve also noticed this. Thought maybe I was tapping too quickly, but I guess that’s just how it is

Shit. I wish it was double tap to wake instead of single tap. The phone screen wakes up too often and easily.

I turned it off, You can just swipe up and it'll active Face ID and unlock the phone

Right but I like the tap to unlock feature and it not being responsive is annoying.

I just turned off raise to wake and you can still unlock the phone when the AOD is on by looking at it and swiping up on the home bar
