Is the FTX app really malware?

Since the FTX hack, it has been all over the internet that the FTX app is malware. This claim is based on a message in the FTX group of Telegram. But I can't find any information about how this claim is substantiated, or what kind of malware it is and exactly what damage it does. Do any of you know more details?

The thing is though, there’s no point in assuming it isn’t malware.

These guys run a Ponzi scheme… it wouldn’t exactly be a stretch to imagine their app being malware or having inbuilt back doors of some kind.

They wanted you to delete the app because it stored some data locally and by deleting the app you were effectively deleting all evidence against them. Then they hacked themselves and stole what little was left cause they are so altruistic.

Hope he goes to prison for life.

The app may have been compromised but their homepage has been hacked to installing malware (affecting android/win) so it sends your wallet to a third party who then transfer your coins..

The company have now filed something something as it seems they are going bankruptcy..
