In laws got an extra iPhone sent to them, labeled to their name on box. Account active for two iphone installments but no charges or indication of extra phone. Assume packager put extra phone in by accident.

Imei is blacklist. Is there a way to get it un blacklist to use it w the carrier?

It's blacklisted because it's been stolen or has been reported missing. To remove any ban you will have to prove a) it isn't stolen, b) you are the rightful owner. Just turn it in to the proper owner and feel good for the day. Tell your kids about it when they grow up.

Okay, it wasn’t stolen just mailed an extra phone from carrier. We have box labeled to in law name.

The black listing was done after they realized it was mistakenly shipped — just in case some amoral people might think it’s ok to keep something they didn’t pay for?
