If this is real. you can file a police report but it doesn't mean you will get your money back. The real lesson is don't buy new iphone 14/14 pro from random person.

It is, and I'm aware of that. I honestly don't know why they bought it from this guy. I would at least have inspected the receipt

Not sure what inspecting the receipt would do. Those are easily faked as well. Why anyone buys anything expensive on Facebook blows my mind.

The receipt was obviously fake so it would have been a giveaway that the phone was fake also. The address was wrong and someone had written over the warranty date and iPhone model very obviously.😑
