I know there is also a vpn menu that shows up when you connect to vpn, but Ethernet menu is the first time I saw it. Does anybody knows what it is? My iPhone is not jailbroken, currently on official iOS 16.3.

That usually only shows up with a dongle that has an Ethernet port. I see it all the time on my ipad.

i know fancy adapters exist for iphone/lightning but maybe its just a bug that a reboot will clear up.

It can show up for certain Bluetooth devices for Ethernet over Bluetooth.

This shows up when my phone connects to my cars Bluetooth to use it as a hotspot for the internet connected apps. Though I can never get it to work properly.

Connected to Wi-Fi network and that’s pretty much it, there was no hardware connection to anything.
