So the restaurant is moving to a rooftop location and we’re getting a weed store too ? Sounds like everyone wins

Evil cannabis? It’s plant medicine for a lot of chronically sick/pain patients, ppl with seizures, terminal illness ect.

I'm confused: Is the article an advertisement for the Cream dispensary, or the Sophia private lounge? Or did they split the cost...? 🤔🤔

Hope I’m wrong with this, but looks like the rooftop is a private event/catering hall unfortunately

Yea I hope the rooftop is open to regular diners but even if it isn’t I would still view this as an improvement overall. The restaurant will make more money and still be able to fulfill ordinary dining customer orders and plus weed !

weird framing in the title. the restaurant moves and still operates and we get a dispensary. sounds like 2 businesses generating tax revenue and providing services to residents instead of 1.

I think I'll patronize the old pawn shop one. I like their very early 2000s logo.

BUT BUT it’s so close to a day care. Does nobody think about the children. 🙄

Actually not as close as the proposed one right next door to one that got shot down. But a mere few blocks away, from the shot down one, which makes all the cries of it getting turned down all the more dramatic and ridiculous. Yes, the dispensary right next door to the Daycare got shot down, but there will be several more within walking distance from it. 🤦

Sorry, but there's no need for a dispensary on every corner of a residential neighborhood and certainly not next to schools or daycares. You'll just have to stretch your poor legs and walk 2 or 3 blocks more. 🤷‍♂️

they painted over their awning. some drama happening there.

Somebody complained about the Garden Greens awning because it had pictures of pot leaves. It's actually not against any law though, signage can have pictures of the plant, but apparently no words like weed, marijuana, etc. I'm not sure if they plan to repaint it with the pot leaves, or something else which no one should complain about.

Better reason would be which one has what you want and is the easiest to get to.
