Earlier this year, I finished a full music album under the name/moniker Rescinder titled 'Hymns from the Bloodroot Valley,' an ode to my past and the values and experiences that have shaped and guided me. It was constructed from musical sketches, field recordings, and audio samples that I made and collected between 2012 and 2021 (a long time to have an idea of an album stewing in my head). The recordings were made mostly in Staten Island, NY but some are from pretty far-flung places. There are no verses or lyrics, but there are guitars, muffled dialogues, and lots of windchimes; it's the soundtrack to a journey to which I hope many can relate in some way. I'm really proud to share it online now since creating a music album has always been life goal of mine. Please enjoy!
