Wait, isn’t Arlington also one of the few dry towns in Mass? Or was until recently?

It was for a long time but it hasn’t been dry for at least 15 years. We even have weed shops.

That explains why, when I was in high school, the Arlington police were so militant about combing through skyline park at night with their 9 billion lumen flashlights to make sure I’m not concealing Tito’s underneath my skeleton.

They started letting restaurants serve when we lived there in the 90s but I think we still went to Lexington, Woburn, or Cambridge for retail.

Sort of but not completely. Although Bull Spit Brewery is closed now, they had a license for a while. Also I think the diner by the train tracks has a license.
