Purgatory is gorgeous though. There's lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

Thanks for sharing that! Do you think/know if the falls will be as nice in this time of the year? How long do you typically spend here?

I actually haven't been in 20 years or so. I lived near there, so I went all the time as a kid. My family loved it. I loved the rock nooks, I didn't even know there was a waterfall!!

I dont know of any waterfall spots other than the ones you mentioned. I will mention 2 really good hikes with lots of water -- Moore State Park and Rutland State park.

Moore has a man made fall, meadows, woods, ponds.

Rutland is a gorgeous rail trail with some bonus side hikes. I like to park here-- https://www.google.com/maps/place/Worcester+Rd,+Oakham,+MA/@42.3928261,-72.0576325,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89e1536638ba78c3:0xc4eed525aac4094!8m2!3d42.3928222!4d-72.0554438

Both are pretty quiet.

Thank you so much for including parking! It can be so tough to find sometimes

There's some parts of the trail that are just pretty typical rail trail. This drops you into a very pretty spot. Go right.
